A Moog Little Phatty synthesizer and a vintage Rhodes electric piano combined with a very old upright piano round out the sonic possibilities at SAS, together with a wide selection of virtual instruments. There are several mesa boogie and fender tube amps around, as well as gibson, fender and ernie ball electric guitars. A taylor acoustic and a 12 string add texture, while several pedalboards give electric guitarists a lot of sonic options

The rhythm section equipment at SAS consists of an AMPEG SVT 6 pro with an 8 x 10 cabinet, a sweet DW drum set with many different cymbal and snare options, and a Fender Precision bass and Gibson Thunderbird for a tight low end.

Sound Addiction Studios is also the home of LA Guitar Lessons, a real world studio environment where students hone their chops and learn their craft, songwriting, jamming, arranging, and develop their musicianship on guitar, bass, drums and vocals. What makes LA Guitar lessons unique is the unbiased ability to gage one’s progress by listening back to recorded material. A comfortable couch in an inspiring environment makes it a pleasure for guests to hang out in the studio or for band members to work on their laptops, or for parents to relax while students are having their lessons.
